Considering the Rangers' blueline, I wonder if he's obtainable... Probably not, but good for gee whiz. Love to see him in a Bolt sweater though.

We did, but righty point man was the secondary priority, and is still a priority 4 drafts later.

Kind of funny as they make fun of some of the picks, such as Boston being mad at Edmonton for taking Hall.

They have the 3 dmen going before 6, leaving Connolly for Tampa Bay.

Here's a fun thought.
With Niedermayer's retirement if there one of the big 3 d-men are still on the board should Tampa grab one of them or bait Anaheim into trading their 2 firsts for the 6th?

Not sure if anyone has posted this... But what about Trading the 6th pick and maybe a later one to Minnesota for the 9th pick and Josh Harding?

However, what is interesting is they say a FWD prospect told them FLA told him they were taking a dman.

That was likely before the Horton trade.
