Here's the thing about Cunti... he was drafted out of Europe, so perhaps he has "defected" status and the Lightning have his right indefinitely.

However, Pete thinks that Switzerland is actually still part of the IIHF, in which case his rights are the same as a CHL prospect -- must sign two years after their draft year.

No one seems to know for sure...
