Tokarski (Chad) and Barberio (Pete) are looking like the steals that certain BP staff predicted they would be on draft day. Obviously, their games will have to translate to the next level and they are still very young, but so far very promising.
Tokarski could very well be the starting goalie on the Canadian WJC team, and Barberio might have Mem Cup MVP in his future. Ok, Tim, slow down...

Tik's next step is starting for the WHL in the CHL-Russia challenge this month.
I think it's between him and Pickard. I don't think Sexsmith (another WJC finalist) made it. But that's off the top of my head. Jake Allen is the other WJC hopeful, and he's having a great year in the Q so far. Tokarski is having an MVP season right now. If Evander Kane (VAN - undrafted) slows down it'd help. |
