Spain crushes Tahiti 10-0. 27 total shots to Tahiti's 1. 14 of those on goal to Tahiti's 0.

And that was Spain's second string!

Absolutely insane to see a team be able to pull Jesus Navas and Iniesta off the bench.

Klinsmann has announced the US Gold Cup roster:

GOALKEEPERS (3): Bill Hamid (D.C. United), Sean Johnson (Chicago Fire), Nick Rimando (Real Salt Lake)

DEFENDERS (8): Corey Ashe (Houston Dynamo), DaMarcus Beasley (Puebla), Tony Beltran (Real Salt Lake), Edgar Castillo (Club Tijuana), Clarence Goodson (Brondby), Oguchi Onyewu (Malaga), Michael Orozco Fiscal (Puebla), Michael Parkhurst (FC Augsburg)

MIDFIELDERS (7): Kyle Beckerman (Real Salt Lake), Alejandro Bedoya (Helsinborg), Joe Corona (Club Tijuana), Mix Diskerud (Rosenborg), Joshua Gatt (Molde FK), Stuart Holden (Bolton), Jose Torres (Tigres)

FORWARDS (5): Will Bruin (Houston Dynamo), Landon Donovan (LA Galaxy), Herculez Gomez (Club Tijuana), Jack McInerney (Philadelphia Union), Chris Wondolowski (San Jose Earthquakes)

Happy to see Diskerud and Gatt getting a look. Torres is back from the wilderness. Excited to see what McInerney can do.

On a down note, with no Bocanegra, I think it's safe to assume his time with the USMNT is up. Looks like the centerback pairing will be Goodson and Onyewu.

Stuart Holden looks damn good tonight against Guatemala. So excited for him!

Who would've thought one of the former Northwestern players would have the best highlight of a game against Messi & Friends?

Nice to see Panama continue to give Mexico fits. Let's see if they can pull it off like they did against us last Gold Cup..

Meanwhile Canada loses to Martinique.

Yeah, classic good news/bad news scenario.

WTF is going on with Canada. That's a program that just cannot actually get going.

Annnnd, losing 1-0 to Cuba in the First Half. Can't defend worth a damn. It's sad. If Donovan comes back full strength with Dempsey and Altidore playing well, the US should have their best offensive lineup ever heading into the Wold Cup. They've got no chance, though, because they can't keep it out of the back of their own net.

Amazed how far US soccer has come offensively in the past 20 years. Dismayed that they left defensive discipline behind in the same span. These guys surrender goals to BUMS. I cringe thinking about how many they'll surrender to quality opponents.
