Bioshock 2 is in my pile of games to play, then I will buy Bioshock infinite, but after reading things like this and viewing the trailers....I think I want to hurry up!

Bioshock 1 is necessary, but 2 is optional. Infinite is the "sequel" to the first, even though the stories are almost completely independent.

Mmmmm, Arkham Origins.

If you haven't played it yet, the Tomb Raider reboot is amazingly well done. Quite a welcome surprise. I dare say it outdoes Uncharted, a game which outdoes the original Tomb Raiders.

Infinite is more of a spiritual successor instead of a direct sequel. Infinite takes place in 1912 while Bioshock is set in the 60's.

LOL! Quite the turnaround for Microsoft and Sony with these new consoles, with the former making all the bad PR steps and the latter winning all the plaudits. A total flip of 360 vs. PS3. I still preordered both but I feel better about the PS4 so far..

Sony dropped the mic on Microsoft during their press conference last night when they made it clear the PS4 wouldn't need to authenticate and if you own the disc you won't be limited in what you can do with it.

MS really screwed the pooch with that move, disallowing you from re-selling the game. I hope they go down in flames for it, to show any other system developers who might be thinking of something similar that it is a complete road-block for many folks.

Was anyone else a little disappointed with Bioshock infinite?

Story wise it was mindblowing, but I think they removed too much gameplay wise from the previous bio-shocks.

Didn't like the upgrade system, didnt give a shit about the bad guys (those handymen what even was going on there??) I mean killing a big daddy was a challenge. Handymen were just a pain in the ass. And I get they needed to do something about the guns, but limiting you to just two?
