Default Vinny's broken foot

IMHO he should take the rest of the season off to mend. Why rush it--we're 3rd last in the NHL in points, 2nd last in the conference, again not making playoffs w/o bizarre combo of winning remaining games plus teams above us losing. Vinny can just take it easy, heal completely, rehab the lower leg and foot muscles and be 100% ready to go come fall.

Speaking of which,...

The captain of the team can't shut it down. If he didn't wear a letter and things continued to look bleak I might agree, but he wears the "C".

Long as he can skate, he plays. That's the warrior aspect of the game

Too bad, only because the season's toast...I'd just like to see the guy out of pain, but half his teammates probably aren't, so that's the way it goes

And lo and behold he's out again with a lower body injury. Is it the same one?

Hey- aren't you the glass half full guy? I'm thinking the team is playing better now than they have the whole year...If Bish continues to be the real deal.... I'd say anything is possible at this point- trick is to play solid every night, and see what shakes out- two weeks ago that was not possible.....

3rd last in NHL. But only 4 points from #3 seed with a game in hand.

It isn't as hopeless as one might think...

If we have a clean sweep this weekend we potentially would be tied for 1st place in the division.
