I thought someone was going to get hurt/trampled. Although pretty orderly, the mass of the crowd awaiting the doors to open was concerning to me. I think the Lightning need to open doors 90 minutes before as the 60 minutes before puck drop was not a good situation. Otherwise, good to see Blue in the stands, and the team looks much improved. |

Excellent win, I wish I could have watched. Oh well, sounds like the players really took the game to the craps and put Conacher on the road to the Calder!
Thankfully I get to watch today's game! |

And the children's parade also which was another "distraction" to keep fans out of the arena.

And "Wicked" show sold out at the Straz, I was at the Capitol Theater in Clearwater for an oldies show that my daughter had gotten tickets for me as a Christmas present, and that was crowded too.

Got a response back from the Lightning concerning
1- Crowd getting in 2- Jam packed crowded concourses Quote Both of your comments are very valid and are on my list to address. We actually just had a meeting with our senior staff to discuss the game and ways to improve. You should see an improvement in both of your items for our next two games. As you know, we usually open with Pre-Season games that help more than just the players on the ice. I do think you will see a noticeable change in the coming week. Thanks again for your support. Do feel free to send me your feedback as we progress through the season. End Quote Sounds like they are all over it. GP |
