After falling behind 2-0 to Orlando during a three-minute span in the second period, Florida scored a short-handed goal approaching the midpoint of the final frame but could not complete the comeback. Aaron Bogosian scored the lone goal for the Everblades. The power play units of both clubs struggled mightily, combining to go 0-for-9 and each allowing a goal against. John Muse got the start over Pat Nagle and stopped thirty of thirty-two shots taken by the Solar Bears. Dan Milan and Maxime Langelier-Parent, still recovering from an injury sustained early in the season, were inactive. Florida (14-11-6, 34 PTS) and Orlando (13-15-4, 28 PTS) finish their five-game, home-and-home series Saturday night.
