Terms per EE are 2 years, 1.4m then 2.2m.

2 years, 3.6m. Nice deal.

There's a time and place for everything, nobody goes to one knee on every shot (it's great for one-timing cross-ice feeds to the off wing, while you'll never see it on a feed coming across the body such as a right winger shooting right) but we've all seen this guy named Crosby and some other, less hated guy named Stamkos make excellent use of that technique to win Rocket Richard trophies -- so keep it up Alex

Soooo...... what you're saying is that if I keep up this practice I'll win a Richard Trophy in the future? I'm in! Next goal: sober up my floundering seal.

It's definitely an effective way to make a shot powerful and, in my case, more accurate, but as a Dman, in my case again, it can take you out of position if the shot is blocked or scuffed. Stupid experience.

Anything's possible--be the first Dman on your block to do it!

Good luck with that

Yeah, experience is the worst teacher -- but other people's experience is the best

Dropping to one knee is great at times. I'm usually a forward (but spend time playing D) and if I get an accurate one-timer and drop to one knee, that shot is hard and accurate.

They already signed Sergei Arteev right before camp started. Gotta think Sustr in on the list, but he has also been invited to Penguins prospect camp too, so might be a small bidding war builiding for him. Unlike juniors, you can't sign college players and send them back to school as that violates their NCAA eligibility. So, that means a contract for Sustr means he's decided to come out of Nebraska-Omaha in favor of AHL hockey. If Sustr is in a bidding war, you proabably have to sign him to an NHL ELC instead of going the Conacher/Szezechura route and get him on a AHL/ECHL deal for a year or so, and having him earn the NHL deal.

I'm hoping Czarnik gets signed. I fully expect him to explode if he goes back to Miami (Ohio) for a sophmore season, the same way JT Brown exploded his sophmore season. Next summer, there could very well be a bidding war for Czarnik. But Czarnik only gets signed if he's decided to forego college and go play AHL next season, and not sure he has size for pro hockey quite yet. I'd love to get Czarnik on a AHL/ECHL deal now, and see how he responds to pro hockey before offering the NHL ELC. But Austin might not want to quit school for anything less than a NHL developmental deal.

Bolts have 45 players under contract with Jaroslav Janus yet to sign.

However, Sergeev likely goes back to juniors and Daniel Milan also eligible to return to juniors. So those contracts will likely get kicked back another year, meaning that once Janus signs, TBL will probably be at 44 out of 50 contract max. Plenty of room to sign a few more players.

We have 44 guys under contract right now, Sergeev will most likely be sent down so his contract will slide leaving Tampa with 43 contracts on the season.

That's more than enough space to take a chance on another Conacher-type player and a possible Chara clone. If we offered them contracts I would be more than happy. From everything I've read Suster seems to be head and shoulders(literally and physically) above most of the other players there.
