Bryce Salvador showed very good chemistry with Brewer in St. Louis. I'd imagine the Devils want him back, but he may want to test the waters in free agency after his excellent playoff performance.

Default Wideman

I would much rather have Wideman, I think he fits our system better.

I'm starting to wonder if we can't land Suter that we might be seeking some type of trade for the defense. If that's the route we took...I wonder who would be a target. Any thoughts?

Del Zotto is said to be on the block and if this is true he should absolutely be on the top of our target list. He put up solid numbers on a low scoring Rangers team. He also of course has a history with Stamkos.

I would absolutely love to acquire Del Zotto. That would fill a nice role for us.

Guess Jackman's gone and Brad Stuart is expected to reach a deal with San Jose today. That pretty much leaves Suter, Wideman and Carle. Absolutely would be thrilled with having either of those guys in a Bolts sweater. Yzerman's going to have to act fast for sure.

Default Carle

Not Carle, am not impressed with him at all, really prefer Wideman.

He's a diver and probably will be vastly over priced

I agree. But, at this point, we pretty much have to take what we can get. I'd rather have at least Carle (if it comes down to that) than have close to nothing at all. Wideman is my realistic first choice. Suter is everyone's first choice, but it doesn't seems realistic. I imagine he'll either stay with Nashville or go to Detroit. It'd be awesome if we inked Suter, don't get me wrong. Just don't think it's very realistic. But yeah, Wideman would definitely fit in well here.
