Someone should remind Hedman and Brewer that they are in fact still paid these last three games whether they are playoff bound or not, so you still in fact have to show up and play. The lazy skate movement on defense is disgusting (yes, it is on offense too, but I notice defense more).

Indeed it was. Murphy, Welch, Malik, Petiot, Melichar, Kraijcek, Quick, Kinrade, among others.

I'm not sure the team was really playing for a victory tonight. There were a ton of forced passes to Stammer, which I don't mind. It's not like they could have really been a spoiler in this game, either.

I expected a let-down, after they spent so much energy vs. Washington. That didn't make the utter shafting the POS refs gave them though any better.

I mind all the forcing of passes to Stammer because he scores 58 goals without that. The chances they got him last night were worse than usual outside of a breakaway he would have gotten anyway. Just play normally and he'll get the chances.

This year is fine because of the future we have in the system. Sure it sucks, but we all, as Lightning fans, have been through much worse.
