Default Funniest Thing You've Heard All Week

This thread is for posting humorous things that bring a chuckle or a laugh to others. I guess I'll start with this recent true story...

I'm in an interracial marriage, and with three mixed kids, we sometimes deal with interesting situations. Here's a dandy. You might recall that a week or so ago was the MLK holiday, and all the schools (and some businesses) were off. Isabelle, my 7 year old, was off from school that Monday, but I had to work. So, I'm putting my shoes on, getting ready for work, and my wife is combing Isabelle's hair and telling her about Martin Luther King and Rosa Parks. As she's telling her about how black people used have to sit in the back of bus while white people got to ride in front, Isabelle put her hands on her hips and shoots me a nasty scowl of a glance.

Suddenly feeling very defensive, I blurt out, "Hey! I wasn't even born yet!"

Then, about 10 minutes later, she comes and gets in my lap and asks me, "Daddy, do you have to go to work today because you're white?"

True story.

LOL.

That's hilarious, Tim. I don't know if I (or any of us) could compete with that.

I'm pulling my entry in the competition. That's too good, Tim.

That said...

We were in Tampa for the last MTL game and were stuck in La Petite Montreal in the 300s and heard "Go Habs Go!" in a French accent all night.

A couple weeks later I was watching a game at home and my 6 year old daughter asked if the Lightning were playing "that Abs-go team" again.

Keeping with the story line, my four year old daughter came home from pre school in November many years ago and told me that she was sad that King Luther was dead. I couldn't figure out who she was talking about. Then she said "King Luther, he was a good man but he was shot."

OK, not as funny but we were keeping my 5 year old nephew last weekend and he was acting up and just before we put him in time out he looked up at me and said, "Uncle Pat, it's not my fault, I have my devil brain, I left the good brain at home."

Now, I love the kid like he was my own but believe me, I was on the phone w/my sister immediately wanting to know why the good brain wasn't pack, how I could get it over to my house post haste, and just what the hell was she letting him watch on tv!!!!!

VAN announcer commenting on Daniel Sedin's new baby, "I don't want to start a nasty rumor, but it looks a lot like Henrik."

My guess would be Jim Norman. He is camera shy as well.
Ah, so that's why he wants to ban people from photographing farms.
