Default Ownership issues...(update) Koules given control

Oren Koules and Len Barrie are scheduled to have a meeting today with NHL commissioner Gary Bettman to determine which one of them will have the authority to make decisions for the franchise. In essence, the commissioner is determining custody of a hockey team.
Just when it couldnt get any worse...

Romano's a columnist so I don't exactly trust everything that's in this article. Time will tell all things IMO.

I can predict a few "I told you so" type posts right now...

Anyway, let us all remember that the trash have been dealing with this crap for how many years? Ugh. Not good news at all.

seems kinda weird to me...

Especially the fact that Koules is the one that wants to trade vinny and Barrie is the one who wants to build around him and spend money....

But if so, maybe we've been wrong about Lennie.

Yeah, kind of odd for it to come out now, but at the same time not surprising at all. One wants to know if he can get rid of Vin for whatever he wants and pick who to draft... surprised to hear that person isn't Barrie, though.

They all suck. Koules, Barrie, Lawton... they all suck. The only person I trust is Tocchet.

But it also says that DC has been conducting interviews and what he is finding out is not pretty.

After reading the article we possibly could be better off with Barrie in charge.

It does make sense since it was OK that announced Lawton would hold the tie breaker......as the article indicates LB is not a Lawton type of guy. After this meeting is over we could very well see a shake up in the front office.

One thing is for sure, someone from within had to go to the NHL and ask for help in solving this problem. Makes one wonder if it was the others in the ownership group.

Barrie wants to spend, spend, spend and yet the rumors from those I trust all say he is the one with the smokescreen up when it comes to money (big claims and nothing to show for it). That'll be fun.

Who is the more stable owner? How are Barrie's and OK's finances?
