Yeah, I agree Filppula is expendable I can't see him being dealt midseason. The forward logjam is a problem for the offseason, because there are other assets not on the main roster who could be dealt.

That's how I felt at the time too, but I'm not going to write off Koekkoek from being the better player just yet either. That draft Grigorenko dropped too, was an odd draft to say the least.
