You gotta think that JBB has a pretty good idea how much Point is going to need if he is meeting with Pavelski. I doubt you waste everyone's time unless it's actually feasible to sign him.

Pavelski isn't really a good skater anymore, but I don't really care about someones skating if they can still pot 35+ goals.

Not sure how we can afford Pavelski unless Point is taking a generous bridge deal. I would still think that Pavelski will be looking at over $6 million even on a short deal.

When I mentioned...

I'm curious to see what the market will be for Wayne Simmonds. I don't see him landing a big money, long-term deal that might of been expected a couple years ago. I almost wonder if his camp may look...

With the cap officially being $81.5 million, we have $10.6 million in current space. I would assume that signing Point, Paquette, Erne, and Martel will eat up pretty much all of that space. We would...

I wouldn't worry too much about the high PIM total from Crozier. The USHL hands out misconducts for everything. He had four fights which = 60 PIM from that alone.

I know we have had a debate a few...

To be fair, I thought he was worth a 1st. A 26 year old forward with size that can score 20+ goals and is signed at a reasonable price was a really nice trade chip.

So Miller for Mazanec (goalie for Syracuse), a 3rd rounder this year and a conditional 1st in 20 or 21. I'm guessing the condition is based on where the pick lands and whether it's protected or not....

I'm guessing the pre-draft scouting report on Kaliyev is very similar to the pre-draft scouting report on the guy that just won the Hart trophy.

I liked Lavoie over Foote because of his ability to play center, but they aren't drastically different prospects. As much as I like Kaliyev, he's essentially a one trick player which is goal scoring....

Caufield won't fall to 27. Arthur Kaliyev might and he would be a pretty big boom/bust pick.

You allow yourself to get value for him. If he were a free agent, the bolts wouldn't get any compensation. However, I still don't think Gourde will be traded. It probably wouldn't look too good to...
