Anyone know anything about the two coming back? Never heard of them.

I'm a Leaf fan and I barely even recognize the two names.

Wow. Traded for AHL spare parts. That's quite a condemnation of Lashoff.

Wasn't Lashoff on a one-way deal this year? Could be a dump .. but for two ECHL wingers who don't particularly impress with their stats? Seems like this could be a move to create some depth in the minors. I reckon they'll be playing for the Everblades.

So should this be categorized as good, bad, or needs further review?

The signing of Jones made Lashoff highly expendable. I think I post in the Jones thread that I thought a trade might happen.

Yeah, apparently they don't like Lashoff....He had a chance to come in and grab and job and it seemed he went backward last year...

This may re-open a chance for Wishart to win a job....Only the one one-way contract now with Smaby at 7-8...

You would think it would be Smaby and Roy at 7-8, but you never know and it gives Mihalik a run, too...

They may have a d man to bring in as a tryout that they like as well or have a guy they want to sign...

Yes, Lashoff on a one-way. I don't think the prospects are too much to get excited about. Not much upside.

I would have liked to have seen how Lashoff could have done in the go-go-go system. I liked him, but maybe it was because he was a Kitchener Ranger. I feel similar to when Eminger was dealt - and he hasn't exactly made TB regret that.

Brings some more depth to the minor leagues, I guess. Otherwise, it was getting something for him now rather than possibly for nothing via waivers later.

If I'm Lashoff, now I'm really pissed. Banished to Toronto.
