2/16 caps @ bolts
big game & no one starts a thread? :(

i broke a wrist, so excuse the lack of posts & capitals

supposedly, this is the game that decides if we are sellers at the deadline. should be a good game. any word on who starts in net?

sotnos, sorry to hear about your wrist. don't rush back too soon and reinjure it.

i'll answer my own question.

Per EE,

Vinny Prospal-Vinny Lecavalier-Marty St. Louis
Jan Hlavac-Brad Richards-Michel Ouellet
Nick Tarnasky-Chris Gratton-Craig MacDonald
Andre Roy-Mathieu Darche-Jason Ward (but I wouldn’t expect this line to be out too much together since they don’t have a real center)

Johan Holmqvist back in net for the fifth time in the past six games

Are they riding Johanny Shortside, or showcasing him?

My guess is the former.

Fleishman could make millions if he only played against the Lightning. He owns us.

i'm out 6-8 with an upper body injury ;)

i'm also wondering why so much homer, but like you say maybe they are looking to move him

liking the lower lines & defensive zone play again, where was this earlier?

The bottom lines have been given more ice time recently and they seem to be able to get into a groove better. Especially McD and Tarnasky.

Per Rick: 9 minutes and 40 seconds without a whistle in the 2nd period. That was intense.

Insane the Bolts didn't get one in there. I was hoping Hlavac would've drawn a hooking or tripping call on his breakaway. Kolzig working like a wall.

hell of a period, too bad no goals :tsk:
