For those who want a primer on the National Debt, here's a decent little site. So you can form your opinions but do so in an educated manner. Remember, opinions formed without information make you look like a WaiverWire. Don't be a WaiverWire.

I do not intend to call out by name others who might have a differing opinion than mine...I hope I may keep to this position for insulting one-another tends to be contra-productive.

By my information, we all owe this debt given to us by professional politicians...a portion of which is due to funds of taxpayer money to payoff said professional politicians, (for the most part unknown at the present time), harassment claims....

Who was it who put those politicians in power?

Everyone who has voted!

They finally broke down in 2017 and bought catastrophic health coverage because I kept nagging them to get SOMETHING rather than think they will continue to never get sick.

The majority of those 13M people bought it because they were already dealing with health issues and the ACA did not automatically eliminate them from getting health insurance because of a pre-existing condition. Those are the 13M the Rs have said F You to, and thrown them back on the streets. And on the backs of those of us that still have health insurance thru an employer, and our premiums will go up to account for their uninsured ER visits.

But, GORSUCH, was worth it, and the donors just got the best Christmas present ever. Well played, R's.

Nothing will change with the ACA other than you will not be fined for not having insurance. You will still get your subsidy so those with health issues can keep their policy. Those that want to roll the dice can.

This just demonstrates the hypocrisy of the Republican Party. The individual mandate requires individuals to take financial responsibility for their health care - something the GOP normally preaches. Instead, the republicans are pushing a true welfare program that rewards those who decline to pay for insurance and which uses tax dollars to pay for those donít.

Yeah, right. Do you mean making someone pay for a plan that if you really have to use it could bankrupt some? I have no problem helping pay off debt to TGH for those that need medical care.

You see.....no one is ever denied care.

So I guess WW is a closet socialist who is fine with the government paying for those who choose not to take personal responsibility and have private health insurance.

Hell, letís all cancel our health insurance and let the government pay.

But by the time they get to the emergency room to never get denied care, the outcomes are poorer, the costs are higher, and thus premiums for everyone who does pay insurance(including small businesses) are higher.
