Gar is Brian Garlock, officially titled Video Coordinator. Gar started with Cooper in St. Louis in 2006 and has been with him for the whole ride so far, sort of Coop's right hand man. During games its up high with a wire connecting him to Steve Thomas on the bench, as George connects to Bowness. His profile is on the Lightning coaches page:

After I retired last September, I got a job starting at my home course, Westchase. Nigel set up the games there for the coaches. I've known Nig since 1993. We played with and against each other in the house leagues at CIA. This was cool to get to know the other coaches, including George who of course knew Amo at MSU that was kind enough to offer me a spot on the 1968 freshman hockey team..
