Augusta came back from an early 1-0 deficit, scoring three straight goals and Riku Helenius (http://boltprospects.com/riku-helenius) stopped 29 of 31 shots to seal the victory 3-2 over the Reading Royals. The Lynx improved to a record of 3-2-1 atop the American South Division. Kevin Quick (http://boltprospects.com/kevin-quick) was pointless, and finished -1 with 3 shots. Justin Keller (http://boltprospects.com/justin-keller), who scored 3 goals in his first two games with Augusta, was not in the lineup against the Royals, raising suspicions that he might have already been recalled back to Norfolk.

Riku should do well at this level, right?

Yes... but... one of the things about Euro goalies is they don't see alot of shots because the offense focuses on passing and setting up the perfect shot. In the ECHL, he'll see alot of shots, and this will help his recovery and rebound control.

So far... undefeated at 2-0-1.

With his year in the Dub, he should be well past the Euro-goalie complex thing.

Word from the Augusta Chronicle (http://chronicle.augusta.com/stories/102808/lyn_481140.shtml) is that Keller missed Sunday's tilt against the Royals due to a bruised hip.

Marks said Keller's [and McKinven's] injuries probably aren't serious enough to keep them off the ice for Friday's game in Charlotte.
