That'll be another mystery solved!

Have you heard anything up there about who might be involved? Rumble was mentioned in our paper, but that was a few weeks ago.

How good was Rumble last year? Does he have it in him to be a good coach and develop players?

It's difficult to effectively gauge how good or how bad Rumble is going to be here... Some positives that we noticed were that the offense definetly seemed to have more "jump" in it the nights he ran it, but last years teams rather dismal performance makes it hard to know what may have been going on between him and Sterling, and how much Rumble was actually responsible for...

We have hope up here in Tidewater... With the number of signings that have been made, we're hoping the trickle down will work well for us... It will be interesting to see how the Rumble/May team works on getting the kids where they need to be... The jury is absolutely still out, at least in my opinion...

I don't think it was necessarily "good" or "bad" so much as the team was inconsistent largely due to how much talent they did or didn't have at a given juncture.

Stirling and Rumble flipped bench duties in January with Stirling taking over the defensemen and Rumble taking over the forwards and it seemed to have a positive effect on the team overall. Of course, that roughly corresponded with the acquisitions of Lessard and Sczechura, so was it better coaching or better talent? On the one hand, I think Sczechura made a guy like Radek Smolenak into a better player overnight the same way Jason Jaspers really helped R2 back in the day. On the other hand, there were improvements across the board too. Blair Jones picked it up after Rumble took over the forwards. Even guys like Lawrence were chipping in helpers down the stretch.

And, I think Stirling helped Vladimir Mihalik's development immensely after the switch.

So, we'll see. I'm less worried about what Rumble brings to the table than I am about May as an assistant. This guy's never coached anywhere near this level, and just six months ago was trying his hand at being a hockey blogger. I'm sure he'll be very popular with the fans, but what's he got to teach other than how to throw a right cross?

They used that logo last year too, remember we're the Minors! Low budget indeed!

You used the better logo (which really isn't saying much).
