I'll grade the Round Two results on Friday or Saturday. I'm too disgusted by tonight's games to dig into them right now.

In the conference finals, you get five points for predicting each winner and three bonus points for the correct number of games.

Eastern Conference
#4 Pittsburgh vs. #6 Carolina

Western Conference
#2 Detroit vs #4 Chicago

Picks are due by Sunday afternoon at 3:00pm Eastern time.

And for the record, if it's Carolina vs. Detroit in the Finals, I'm not watching. It would not be good for me to be raging at the TV every five minutes.

Sooner or later one of these teams is going to win it in the games I actually predict! Might be next season at the rate I'm going...

Is it possible to say I'm taking the two teams that Chad takes :D

Wings in 6......Khabi will be great but the youth of Chicago will show.

Carolina in 7.....I hate the Pens with a passion.

I'm going to pretend I didn't see that.

Superstitiously...

Carolina vs. Pittsburgh - Canes in 6
Staal brothers face off against each other, but instead of worrying about scoring more, they hold a contest to see who can open their mouths the biggest after he scores. Eric wins as he has more experience. Since the Canes have won despite failures to lure Hansborough and Justin Courtnall to the team as mentioned in previous predictions, this time - needing a boost - they sign noted rhinoplastist Douglas Schnowzbeak to work on Rod Brind'Amor, thinking moving that thing back to center will result in better vision. They are correct, and Rod scores the game winner in Game 6. However, Rod does the unthinkable and Iginlas the trophy, taking into the lockerroom for a celebration. When the NHL went looking for it, they couldn't locate the trophy as Staal had swallowed it in a moment of excitement.

Detroit vs. Chicago - Detroit in 5
With the threat of a non-Pitt and non-Detroit Cup final looming, the NHL begins assessing Patrick Kane penalties for failure to "tie down his mouthpiece" during play, resulting in dozens of odd-man advantages for the Wings. Kane simply can't play without his mouthpiece out of place, so CHI has to choose between sitting him or playing shorthanded. Kane watches from the box as the Wings literally set up tents in Khabibulin's crease and come away with an earlier-than-expected win.

Excellent. "Iginla" is now a verb.

Can we fit that into a Bolt Prospects message board title somehow?
