Sorry Richards had to leave..wish him luck except aginst the Lightning (Bet he puts one in 1st game with Dallas).
My 1st impresions after the game last night is:
Everyone tries extra hard after they've been moved so still wat to see more
SMITH...I thought he did some good things. Have to say my heart jumped into my throat when I saw him with the puck. I didn't see rebounds galore.
HALPERN...Quicker than I remembered. Nothing to be ashamed of.
JOKINEN...I thought is was funny that Feaster said (after the trade) that they (the Lightning) feel they (meaning Jokinen and Halpern) would be an upgrade on the 3rd line (or words to that effect)...Yeah, guess so. That's one reasons we're fighting the Kings.
PICARD...Easily an upgrade over Janik. As I watched him I wondered why is he just standing there? Ohhhh waiting for Boyle to come back and pick up the puck. Hummmmm
Some have said that Ranger and Lundin both look tired. Hey we're not going anywhere ...Let's see what someone else can do...What's going to happen? We loose?
Last...Why would Vinny want to sign a long trem deal here? Look at what happened to your best freind (Brad) ? Sign a long term deal, big bucks, NTC.
I do hope that he wants to be here (or we REALLY SCREWED UP)and the comment about Halprin and Jokinen being 3rd line player is for real...That would indicate they are going to get better 2nd and 3rd line players not NHL wantabe's
