Martins Karsums had 25 penalty minutes and 2 shots on goal in 6:32 as Latvia defeated Austria 2-0. Karsums received a game misconduct for boarding midway through the match.

Johan Harju had 2 shots on goal and was -1 as Sweden rebounded to defeat Team USA 6-5 in overtime. Harju and his lifelong teammate Linus Omark were held scoreless for the first time in the tournament in the match.

Karri Ramo backed up Pekka Rinne as Finland defeated the Czech Republic 4-3.
