Lightning prospects go 6-0 on the night - and all were on the road, including three Q teams on the verge of sweeps.

After being down 2-0 to start the game and series, Victoria battled to a 6-5 win Tuesday night on the strength of two goals and an assist from Lee Baldwin, and Alaska-Anchorage commit. Courtnall, despite being a point-per-gamer in the regular season and showing some life late in the Cowichan Valley series, has gone two straight games without a point. He has matched his playoff point total from last year, however. The teams will play again Wednesday night in Powell River. Each game has been decided by one goal, with the first two Kings’ wins coming in overtime.

Moncton has outscored PEI 15-3 so far in the series. The Rocket scored both their goals within 11 seconds of each other – a new franchise playoff record – but it wasn’t enough. The Wildcats will attempt to end the series Wednesday on the Island.

The Chiefs were down 1-0 in this one before breaking the game open with three goals in just over four minutes in the late first. They scored twice short handed and were 2 for 2 on the power play. Spokane welcomed back injured defenseman Trevor Glass (overage – undrafted), who had 2 assists, and suspended winger and Newport Beach, California native Ryan Letts (undrafted). Letts was suspended 10 games for running over Tri-City goalie Chet Pickard. The teams play again Wednesday night in Seattle (Kent, WA).
