USHL

Fargo Force 6 @ Muskegon Lumberjacks 4
C Jimmy Mullin, FGO: 0-1-1, +2, 0 PIM, 1 SOG
Season totals: 35 GP, 15-26-41, +21, 20 PIM

OHL

Guelph Storm 3 @ London Knights 2
C/W Richard Panik, GUE: Did not play (injured – knee)
With Guelph: 22 GP, 12-12-24, -6, 34 PIM
With Belleville: 27 GP, 14-17-31, E, 33 PIM
Season totals: 49 GP, 26-29-55, -6, 67 PIM

Panik missed the game with a knee injury. No details have been released on the severity of the injury. He scored a goal in the third period of Saturday night’s game, so if he was hurt, it happened late – or they kept him out as a precaution. It’s all speculation at this point. Guelph put up 50 shots on London Sunday, scoring three times in the third period to erase a 2-0 deficit and steal a win.

WHL

Tri-City Americans 6 @ Chilliwack Bruins 1
RW Carter Ashton, TC: 1-2-3, +2, 0 PIM, *First Star*
With Tri-City: 14 GP, 7-15-22, +2, 30 PIM
With Regina: 29 GP, 16-11-27, -12, 44 PIM
Season Totals: 43 GP, 23-26-49, -10, 70 PIM

Ashton broke a seven game goal-less drought and notched three points, helping TC to a big win in Chilliwack.

Prince George Cougars 4 @ Red Deer Rebels 3
RW Brett Connolly, PG: 2-0-2, E, 0 PIM, *First Star*
Season totals: 44 GP, 35-21-56, -6, 22 PIM

Prince George saw their 2-1 third period lead turn into a 3-2 deficit before Connolly scored with just under two minutes left in the game to tie game, and again in overtime to win it for the Cougars. Connolly is up to eighth in the league in goals scored. Undersized center Tyler Johnson of Spokane (undrafted overager) leads with 43. Possible first overall pick in 2011, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, was scoreless Sunday against the Cougars for the Rebels.
