North American Juniors Game Night: 1/25/11

Penticton Vees 1 @ Powell River Kings 4
C Brendan O’Donnell, PEN: 0-0-0, 2 PIM (delay of game)
Season totals: 46 GP, 20-40-60, 22 PIM

O’Donnell hasn’t scored in two games, which is an eye opener considering his strong play after the World Junior A Challenge. The Kings exacted some revenge on Penticton for beating them 4-1 last game out.

Saskatoon Blades 8 @ Calgary Hitmen 4
D Teigan Zahn, SAS: 0-0-0, -1, 2 PIM (tripping)
Season totals: 47 GP, 2-11-13, +12, 91 PIM

Saskatoon outscored Calgary 13-5 over the last two games. Zahn’s streak of games with a fight came to an end at three. Kings first rounder and new Blade Brayden Schenn had a goal and an assist in his second game with Saskatoon. The Blades are a legitimate Memorial Cup threat.
