O'Donnell has a big night ... Connolly, Ashton score ... Schemitsch a PPGer ... Zador struggles.

Gatineau outshot the Titan 31-14 but were unable to consistently solve Oilers draft pick Olivier Roy in net for A-B.

Montreal Juniors 5 @ Halifax Mooseheads 3
D Charles Landry, MTL: Did not play.
Season Totals: 4 GP, 0-1-1, +4, 0 PIM

Nicolas Chouinard (undrafted) scored five goals for the Juniors.

Saginaw Spirit 3 @ Sault Ste Marie Greyhounds 2
D Brock Beukeboom, SSM: 0-0-0, -1, 0 PIM Season Totals: 5 GP, 0-0-0, E, 16 PIM

Beukeboom is still looking for his first point of the season.

Season Totals: 6 GP, 4-3-7, E, 9 PIM

Panik and the Bulls were shutout for the second time this season.

Owen Sound Attack 4 @ Sarnia Sting 2
D Geoffrey Schemitsch, OS: 0-1-1, +2, 0 PIM
Season Totals: 5 GP, 1-4-5, +4, 0 PIM

Schemitsch, who had 40 points as a rookie last year, is currently on a point-per-game pace to start the year.

Oshawa Generals 7 @ Kingston Frontenacs 8 (SO)
G Michael Zador, OSH: No decision, 16 saves on 22 shots
Season Totals: 4-0-0-0, 3.53 GAA, .901 sv%

Zador was coming off a First Star effort for undefeated Oshawa, but all that came to a crashing halt as the Frontenacs handed the Gens their first loss. Zador was pulled after 32 minutes in favor of Kevin Bailie, who took the backdoor shootout loss despite stopping 21 of 22. Look for Bailie to get the next start. Zador’s GAA rose a full goal after the game. Oshawa never gave up in this one, scoring the game’s final 5 goals to send the game to overtime and a shootout.

Tri-City Americans 6 @ Regina Pats 4
RW Carter Ashton, REG: 1-0-1, -2, 0 PIM
Season Totals: 6 GP, 2-1-3, -2, 21 PIM

Ashton scored the game's final goal for the Pats, who made a move earlier in the day to get younger at forward. If Regina continues to struggle, they will likely deal Ashton for prospects/picks.

Prince George Cougars 1 @ Lethbridge Hurricanes 4
RW Brett Connolly, PG: 1-0-1, -1, 2 PIM (Interference)
Season Totals: 6 GP, 3-5-8, -3, 2 PIM

Connolly’s point streak extended to six games when he scored on the power play with one second left in the game.

D Teigan Zahn, SAS: 0-0-0, E, 0 PIM
Season Totals: 7 GP, 1-0-1, +6, 11 PIM

Saskatoon is now 6-1 this season, tops in the league.
