Matt Peca had three points and he and his linemates, twins Conner and Kellen Jones, combined for 10 points, as Quinnipiac rebounded from a Friday night loss with a crushing win on Saturday, 10-0. The game got ugly at the end of the second period and again in the late third with several roughing and misconduct calls. Fighting is not allowed in NCAA hockey.

Mullin (pictured) scored his sixth goal of the year and former Lightning prospect camper Austin Czarnik scored twice to lead the RedHawks to a big win on Saturday to even their CCHA quarterfinal series with MSU. The teams will play again on Sunday.

Brendan O’Donnell had his two-game point streak snapped as Michigan Tech scored late and forced a deciding Game 3 on Sunday. Habs prospect Danny Kristo scored his 24th goal of the year for UND.

G Adam Wilcox, MIN: Win, 19 saves on 22 shots

Minnesota overcame two two-goal deficits and scored with less than a minute left in regulation to advance to the WCHA Final 5. Wilcox allowed three goals, two of which were scored on rebounds and one on a deflection.

The unseeded Wolverines swept out third-seeded WMU with a 5-1 win on Saturday. Witkowski and the Broncos will have to wait until next weekend to see if they earned an at large bid to the national tournament. WMU beat Michigan last year in the CCHA championship game.
