Maxime Pressault scored his first goal of the playoffs 13 minutes into the third period to break a 2-2 tie and propel the Foreurs to the QMJHL Finals with a Game 7 win. Halifax outshot their opponent, 41-16, including 17-3 in the third period, but they couldn’t beat VDO goalie Antoine Bibeau (Leafs). Halifax scored both of their goals in the first period when they had a 2-1 lead entering the second.

This will end the junior career of Jonathan Drouin, barring some greatly unforeseen circumstances in which he wouldn’t make the Lightning next fall. Drouin’s junior career goes down as one of the best in recent memory as he accumulated 344 points in 178 regular season and playoff games, won dozens of awards, and set multiple records. He ended his career with 77 points in his last 28 games.
