Kingston blew a 3-1 series lead, losing twice at home in the final three games, including Game 7 in overtime. Nick Ritchie (2014) scored for Peterborough on the first shot of overtime. This ends the junior career of Lightning prospect Henri Ikonen, who will likely join the Syracuse Crunch of the AHL on a tryout agreement. He’s a near lock for a Lightning contract after an impressive training camp last fall and a solid year. He’s an energetic, complimentary winger who can chip in offensively.
