New Quebec alternate captain Adam Erne had a goal to help Quebec to a 5-3 win over Nikita Kucherov’s former team. After initially failing to report, Sabres first rounder Mikhail Grigorenko played for Quebec and was first star after scoring a goal and earning two assists.
