Perhaps the early reassignment of Raddysh by the Lightning was to get him back to the OHL before the Otters’ opener, as Erie visited the Petes Thursday night. Raddysh, who is coming off a 108-point season, put up a goal (shorthanded breakaway) and an assist against fellow Lightning prospect Christopher Paquette. A center initially with the Petes after coming over from Niagara, Paquette was back on the wing to start the season. He was scoreless Thursday. There’s still an outside chance Jonne Tammela re-joins the Petes this year, though it’s unlikely. Tammela is under contract with the Lightning, but if they feel he won’t get ample ice time in Syracuse they could reassign him to Peterborough. Tammela missed all but two games last year with the Petes because of a knee injury.
