The Mooseheads jumped out to a 4-0 lead before the game’s midpoint and cruised to the 6-2 win over the Huskies. Somppi notched two assists, including the primary on what would be Filip Zadina’s game winner. Zadina, a consensus Top 10 ranked prospect for the 2018 draft., and Raphael Lavoie (undrafted) both paced the Mooseheads with two goals and three points each. Zadina currently leads the Q in goals and points.

Once again, the Mooseheads jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the 2nd period and cruised to a 4-2 win over the Foreurs. Somppi scored the opening goal and Halifax netminder Alexis Gravel (2018 draft eligible) stopped 32 Val-d’Or shots for the win. Somppi’s +23 rating leads the Q.
