Sompii earned First Star honors, and Halifax had five different goal scorers on the way to the 5-2 victory. Sompii’s +27 is good for 2nd in the league in plus-minus behind Titan blueliner Adam Holwell (undrafted)

The Generals got a hat trick from Hayden McCool (undrafted) and two more goals from Matt Brassard (VAN 2017 7th round pick) as Oshawa doubled up the Petes 6-3 at home in the Tribute Communities Centre in front of 4500+ fans. Paquette assisted on Peterborough’s first goal just seconds before the end of the 1st from Pavel Gogolev (2018 draft eligible).

Jermaine Loewen (undrafted) scored a couple of late 3rd period goals for the Blazers to ice a 3-2 nail biter for Kamloops. Brayden Burke (undrafted) scored with 33 seconds left in the first to give the Blazers a 3-2 lead over the Warriors, and two teams battled until Loewen provided the late insurance for the Kamloops victory. Sosunov assisted on Moose Jaw’s first goal of the game by Tanner Jeannot (undrafted).

Edina was paced by the two goals and three points of Liam Malmquist (uncommitted) and the 7 shot shutout by Hornet netminder Garrett Mackay (uncommitted). Edina’s next game is Saturday (Dec 16th) against the Eden Prairie Eagles.
