The Warriors had the game in hand by the 2nd intermission, up 4-0 on the Hitmen, but took their foot off the gas a little and Calgary made it interested with three 3rd period goals of their own. Tanner Jeannot (undrafted) lead the way for Moose Jaw with two goals and an assist, while Riley Stotts (2018 draft eligible) and Layne Toder (undrafted) led the rally for Calgary.

Perbix got the primary assist on the OT game-winner by Czech pivot Filip Suchy (undrafted), who scored all three of the Lancers’ goals. Omaha got a pair of assists from wingers Noah Cates (PHI, 2017 5th round pick) and Cole Gallant (Western Michigan commit). Harvard bound Jack Drury (2018 draft eligible) scored both of Waterloo’s goals with Jackson Cates (Minnesota-Duluth commit) earning assists on both Black Hawks scores.
