Nikita Korostelev (free agent) notched his 2nd assist of the game on a Semyon Der-Arguchintsev (2018 draft eligible) power play goal just shy of the midpoint of the 3rd to give the Petes a 3-1 lead over the Battalion. But North Bay battled back and tied the game with just 11 seconds remaining in regulation. Korostelev converted in the shootout, but Adam McMaster (2018 draft eligible) and Justin Brazeau (undrafted) converted for the Battalion.

Howden scored the OT game-winner after the Warriors blew a 4-1 third period lead, allowing three Medicine Hat goals including the equalizer with 39 seconds left in regulation. Brandon Schuldhaus opened the scoring for Moose Jaw with his first two goals of the season, and Howden notched two assists to go along with his game-winner.

Perbix (pictured) scored his first goal of the season, a power play marker early in the 3rd to draw the Lancers within one of the Black Hawks, but Harvard-bound Jack Drury (2018 draft eligible) would score later in the 3rd for Waterloo to put the game out of reach. Drury also assisted on both Garrett Wait goals for the Black Hawks. Wait, a former teammate of Sammy Walker at Edina High School will be reunited with Walker at Minnesota next season. Cole Gallant (Western Michigan commit) and Filip Suchy (undrafted) assisted on both of Omaha’s goals.
