Defenseman Brent Henley scored the game-winner with just 26 seconds remaining in overtime to give Florida, which squandered a 4-1 lead it had built up over the course of the first two periods, a key victory that keeps the visitors in the hunt for the South Division title. Danick Gauthier, in his first game action after being assigned from Syracuse, scored the fourth goal for the Everblades midway through the second period after throwing the puck on net from the boards and getting a fortunate bounce off the opposing goalkeeper. Dan Milan pounced on loose rebound for his first goal in 32 games, which gave the visitors a 2-1 lead late in the first frame. Florida (30-20-10, 70 PTS) continues its four-game road trip Friday night against Fort Wayne (29-28-3, 61 PTS).
