Florida earned another two points from Kalamazoo, but this time it was more difficult. One night after beating the Wings 9-3, Florida needed a shootout to beat the visitors from Michigan. Florida had four different goal scorers in regulation and won the skills competition 1-0 on a goal by Mathieu Roy. Norfolk property and former Lightning draft pick Kevin Quick (pictured) participated in the shootout, but did not score. Nagle got the night off. Florida is in the 7th spot in the conference, but just three points up on ninth place Chicago with the Express having a game in hand.
