Lightning goalie prospect Connor Ingram and Beast goalie Andrew D'Agostini put on goaltending clinic Sunday afternoon at the Powerade Centre in Brampton. The two netminders allowed just one goal each and made a combined 82 saves en route to a shootout duel. D'Agostini, the ex-Peterborough Pete goalie and former teammate of Lightning prospects Matthew Spencer and Slater Koekkoek, turned away all 4 Adirondack shooters including Syracuse depth forwards Ty Loney and Shane Conacher. Ingram finally yielded a goal on the fourth Brampton shooter, but still earned Second Star honors for his performance. For the weekend, Ingram played a total of 185 minutes and turned away 95 of 99 shots, while backstopping the Thunder to earning 5 of the possible 6 points on the weekend. Loney and Conacher once again combined on the power play 40 seconds into the 3rd to knot the score at 1-1. Now that the weekend three-in-three is completed, it is expected that Ingram and Spencer will be recalled to Syracuse.
