The Armada scored early and often, pasting six goals on the scoreboard at the Centre d'excellence Sports Rousseau, punching their ticket to the QMJHL Finals against the Acadie-Bathurst Titan. Bolt prospect Alex Barré-Boulet scored short-handed early in the 1st period in what would be the eventual Game 7 winner, adding an additional three assists to earn a Second Star. Barre-Boulet’s linemate Alexandre Alain (undrafted) notched a hat trick and five points to pace the Armada. Barre-Boulet, Alain, and teammate Drake Batherson (OTT, 2017 4th round pick) own the Top 3 slots in practically every playoff offensive statistical category.

The top-two regular season teams in the Q will square off Friday night in Boisbriand for Game 1. The Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds and the Hamilton Bulldogs, the two best OHL regular season teams, kick off the OHL Finals Thursday in Sault Ste. Marie. Game 1 of the WHL Finals between the Swift Current Broncos and the Everett Silvertips gets underway Friday night in Swift Current.
