Lightning prospect Alex Barré-Boulet scored a power play goal of his own early in the 2nd period to knot the score, and then assisted on an Alexandre Alain (undrafted) power play goal later in the period. But the Armada failed to hold the 2-1 lead, surrendering a late 3rd period tally by Nikita Alexandrov (2019 draft eligible) to force overtime.

Raddysh earned the Third Star in the losing effort on the road. Ranger netminder Mario Culina (undrafted) stopped 45 Soo shots for the win.
