Canada WJC Selects Four Bolt Prospects

Hockey Canada made their final cuts for their 2018 World Juniors Cup squad Friday night, and all four Lightning prospects invited to this past week’s Selection Camp made the team. No other NHL team has more than two prospects represented on the Canadian WJC team.

Representing the Lightning on Team Canada are forwards Taylor Raddysh (OHL Erie Otters), Boris Katchouk (OHL Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds), and Brett Howden (WHL Moose Jaw Warriors), along with defenseman Cal Foote (WHL Kelowna Rockets). Canada will play exhibition games against the Czech Republic on Wednesday (Dec 20) in London, Ont., and Switzerland on Friday (Dec 22) in Hamilton. Their first WJC tournament game is in Buffalo, N.Y., on Boxing Day (Dec 26).
