Tenacious forechecker who dominates below the circles. Surprising puckhandling ability and soft hands.
Second year eligible only played 4 games of major junior before this year. Skating is a question mark.

"A real Red Line sleeper. Classic late-bloomer is a second year draft eligible who was playing his first season in QMJHL at age 18, and emerged out of nowhere to become Blainville's most important player in their strong playoff run. At times we think of him as a hard-driving power forward with size and physicality who brings an element of toughness that his club had lacked until his arrival. Then at other times he wows us with slick moves and soft hands. What that tells us is he's got a lot of attributes that we're really warming to. Lit the lamp 31 times in the regular season, then added 17 points and 22 PIMs in 11 playoff contests. Dominates down low in the offensive zone with hard forechecking pressure and turns mistakes into scoring chances for himself and linemates.
Projection: Gritty bottom six forward with some skill.
Style compares to: Matthew Lombardi" (Red Line Report)
