Rangers pick Adam Tambellini, son of former NHLer and recent Oilers GM Jeff Tambellini, had two goals and an assist for Calgary, who defeated the Blades in Saskatoon, 4-1.

Sarnia held a 5-2 lead in the second period before giving up the game’s final six goals. Two of those goals were late empty-netters. DeAngelo had two assists and is tied for fourth in the OHL for points by a defenseman. Mitchell Vande Sompel (2015 eligible) of Oshawa leads with 19 points in 16 games.

The Sea Dogs won the shootout, 3-2, to take the extra point. Darcy’s shootout attempt was saved. He’s still struggling to match last year’s production rate.

Windsor was looking for some revenge on London, who eliminated the Spits in the playoffs last year. Windsor spotted the Knights a 3-0 lead before coming back and tying the game in the 13-minute mark of the third period. London scored two minutes later to take the win.
