This was Hutchings’ third All-Star Game appearance, and he made the most of it, scoring once in each period and adding two assists. Niagara's Andrew Agozzino had four goals and was named Player of the Game for the East. Hutchings’ Barrie teammate Alex Pietrangelo was plus-9 in the game with four assists. Likely No.1 overall pick in 2010 Taylor Hall had just one assist for the West.

Wright (pictured) set up the Giants' first goal and later scored their 11th goal, adding two more assists in between in an 11-1 Vancouver blowout win over Lethbridge. This was Wright’s first goal since returning to junior hockey from the NHL.

Barberio now has 21 points in his last 15 games. He also has a six-game point streak in which he’s registered 11 points. With his two primary assists Tuesday, he tied his career high for points (46) and assists (35), set two seasons ago in 70 games. Moncton had their 12-game win streak broken. This game was originally scheduled for last November.

Ashton’s modest two-game goal streak came to an end. Jordan Eberle (Oilers 1/’08) scored in the third period to force overtime for Regina, but they lost the shootout 2-1. Ashton did not participate in the shootout. This was a makeup game as the originally schedule contest was postponed due to weather and travel conditions. Even with the point, 10th place Regina is seven points back of Prince Albert for the eighth spot in the conference - with Swift Current in ninth.

Sointu scored for the second straight game and notched the second multi-point night of his brief OHL career. He had two assists on November 13 for Ottawa.

Despite being pulled in the first period against Ottawa Friday, Zador got the start again for the Generals. He lasted the whole game, but gave up six, with three coming on the power play.

Vancouver held a 2-0 at the game’s midway point, but Portland scored the next four and hung on as the Giants scored one early in the third to pull within 4-3. Wright, who is still trying to find his place in the lineup, is looking for his first WHL goal of the season. He had 21 in 71 games last season.

This was Hutchings’ (pictured) second fight of his career and first of the season. Morin (Thrashers 2/2009) is among Rangers’ leading scorers at 65 points. Morin, an American, received an instigator on the play. He has fought five times this year.

Ashton’s goal tied the game at one early, but Regina couldn’t defeated Moose Jaw on the road to extend their 5-0-0-1 streak. Ashton hit 20 goals for the second straight season. The first rounder had 30 in 70 games last year with Lethbridge.
