Harvard Crimson 5 vs. #15 Boston Terriers 4

Killorn scored two second period goals to help Harvard upset BU in the consolation game of the Beanpot tournament. It was the first win for Harvard over BU in the Beanpot since 1994. The two teams will face each other in the semi-finals next year in the 60th Beanpot tournament.

Killorn now has a career high in goals and points scored, passing last year's total of nine goals and 20 points.

#1 Boston College needed overtime to beat Northeastern 7-6 in this years Beanpot final. It was BC's 16th Beanpot title and third in last four years.

Western Michigan's 14 game unbeaten streak has come to an end at the hands of Miami. The Broncos went two months and a day without a regulation or overtime loss before Saturday night's defeat. Western is sitting in 4th in the CCHA, nine points behind first place Notre Dame. The Broncos are at #13 Michigan next weekend for two games.

After a rough start, the Big Red have just two losses in their last 12 games and have moved into 4th in the ECAC, just seven points behind first place Union. Cornell should creep back into the top 20 after this win over a top 10 team.

Vermont Catamounts 2 @ #18 Maine Black Bears 4

Vermont split the weekend series with the Black Bears. The Catamounts are at home against #6 New Hampshire next weekend.

Witkowski was credited with the game-tying goal, netting his first of the season for the Broncos. Western is now unbeaten in 14 games, dating back to December 11, 2010.

Killorn scored the game-tying goal to help Harvard pick up a tie with newly-ranked Princeton. The three points for Killorn are a season high for the leading scorer of the Crimson.

Cornell managed just nine shots on goal against Union goalie Keith Kinkaid. The Big Red are at Rensselaer Saturday night.

Vermont Catamounts 7 @ #18 Maine Black Bears 2

Marshall sat out again due to injury while Vermont scored seven goals for the second straight game as they took down Mike Lundin's alma mater, the Maine Black Bears. The two meet again Saturday night.

Harvard Crimson 0 vs. Northeastern Huskies 4

The Crimson were blanked in the semi-final game of the 59th Beanpot Tournament played between the four Boston area schools. Northeastern netminder Chris Rawlings recorded 41 saves for the shutout and move the Huskies into next Mondays final.

Harvard has 10 Beanpot titles but none since 1993. The last time the Crimson played in the final was 2008 where they lost in a 6-5 thriller in overtime to eventual National Champion, Boston College.

The Crimson will face the loser of tonight's Boston College vs. Boston University semi-final next Monday in the consolation game.

NCAA Game Night 2/5/11

Bowling Green Falcons 1 @ #16 Western Michigan Broncos 3

The Broncos extended their unbeaten streak to 13 games and ran their record to 15-6-9 with a 3-1 win over Bowling Green. Next weekend Western faces a tough test to keep the streak alive with a trip to Oxford, Ohio, for two games with the #13 Miami Redhawks.

St. Lawrence Saints 3 @ Cornell Big Red 4 (OT)

Cornell scored with 15 seconds left in regulation to force overtime before scoring 2:38 into the extra period to knock off St. Lawrence. The Big Red have now won three straight games and are unbeaten in their last six. Gotovets (pictured) is scoreless in 12, but is tied for the team lead with a plus-12 rating.

Providence Friars 1 @ Vermont Catamounts 7

Vermont (6-15-5) won big over HEast opponent Providence. The win snapped a four game winless streak for the Catamounts. Next week they travel to #15 Maine for a weekend series with the Black Bears.
