Elsewhere, still no official word on where Saku Salminen will land for his 2015-2016 campaign and there was additional news out of Finland that Jonne Tammela will miss 1-2 months for KalPa with an injury.

Ex-Lightning forward Brandon Bochenski had a pair of helpers for Astana, which blew a 2-0 lead coming out of the First Period. Washington Capitals first rounder Ilya Samsonov, who is Koshechkin's backup, has yet to see KHL game action this season.
