Goaltender Andrey Vasilevskiy was chased at 14:50 of the Second Period in Ufa's 4-2 loss to St. Petersburg. SKA's attack was led in part by a pair of helpers by former NHLer Dmitri Kalinin. The loss was Vasilevskiy's first at the KHL level this season. Ufa plays Magnitogorsk next Thursday.

Ex-Bolt netminder suffered the loss while turning thirty of thirty-three shots aside. Brynas (14-12-5-7, 59 PTS) returns home for its next match against Skelleftea (23-11-2-2, 75 PTS), the league leader in the standings, on Saturday.

As if posting a shutout in his first KHL start of the season wasn't impressive enough, Andrey Vasilevskiy (pictured) also had the primary assist on the game's only goal in Ufa's 1-0 win over Dynamo Moscow. Vasilevskiy is fresh off his Bronze Medal winning performance with Russia in the U20 World Junior Championships. Ufa faces St. Petersburg next on Thursday.
