Nagle started his first game in nine days with a chance to propel the Everblades into a tie for first place in the South Division, but Gwinnett outshot Florida 30-20 on their way to a 4-3 win. The Glads held onto first place and moved four points ahead of Florida with the win. Defensemen Kevin Quick and Charles Landry, recently assigned to Florida from Norfolk, were recalled to the Admirals earlier this week.

After starting 10 straight games for Florida Nagle got his second night off in as many days. Carolina prospect John Muse got the win in net for the Everblades, who won a 15-round shootout for the victory. Charles Landry (pictured with the now defunct Montreal Juniors) played his sixth game for the ‘Blades; he was reassigned by the Norfolk Admirals earlier in the day. Kevin Quick went scoreless in his second ECHL game since the 2009 playoffs. He failed to convert his shootout attempt. Landry did not get into the shootout. Florida is ties for first in the South Division with Gwinnett.

Nagle got a rare night off in 2012 as former Everblades No.1 John Muse was back with the club and in the nets Friday night. Muse stopped 28 of 30 shots to earn the win and First Star honors. Former Lightning prospect and current Norfolk Admirals property Kevin Quick had an assist in his first ECHL game since he played for Elmira in the 2009 playoffs. Quick is coming off a lengthy absence from the ice due to injury.

Florida broke open a 3-2 game with four unanswered goals Wednesday to beat Chicago 7-2. Nagle broke a personal two-game losing streak, though he had a somewhat easy night with only 15 shots against. Alex Hutchings remains out with an upper-body injury. He hasn’t played since November 12.

Florida got down 3-0 quickly and could never recover, losing to Gwinnett 6-2 Saturday and falling three points behind the Glads in the division in the process. Nagle has started Florida’s last nine games. He is 6-2-0-1 over that span. Alex Hutchings remains out with an upper-body injury. He hasn’t played since November 12.
